Initiating growth

Together with strong partners, Wirtschaftsförderung Raum Heilbronn GmbH (WFG) is shaping the development and networking of the hydrogen sector in the Heilbronn region and is a driving force for the more than 180 regional players along the entire hydrogen value chain.

Through the annual Hydrogen Day in Hardthausen am Kocher, regular network meetings, a specialist newsletter and individual support for companies and municipalities, the WFG supports the development and expansion of a hydrogen infrastructure in the city and district of Heilbronn.

The HYDROGENIUM (an award-winning RegioWIN lighthouse project) is being built on the premises of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Lampoldshausen as a test and application centre for hydrogen systems and components to support companies in the development and testing of hydrogen technologies. In the course of this, the WFG is setting up advisory formats that support small and medium-sized businesses, municipalities and municipal companies in setting up a hydrogen infrastructure.
