Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH was created in 2022 by changing the name from Merkle & Partner GbR. Merkle & Partner GbR was founded in 1989 by Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Merkle after completing his studies in aerospace engineering in Stuttgart and offers comprehensive services in the field of technical-engineering calculations. New subject areas and suitable methods to take account of the rapid progress in hardware and software are constantly being developed.
At the headquarters in Heidenheim and the branches in Erfurt and Homburg/Saar, employees work on around 500 customer projects in the field of structural mechanics and flow simulation every year. We use the latest and most powerful hardware and software. Well-known companies from the mechanical and plant engineering, aerospace, automotive, medical technology, defence and shipbuilding sectors rely on the expertise and experience of Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH.
In the field of fuel cells, the company has decades of experience in stationary and mobile applications and has played a decisive role in promoting the use of simulation here. We support our customers with technical calculations, especially by means of FEM simulations, CFD simulations, as well as thermal simulations.
