Plagazi AB (publ)

green hydrogen from waste

Plagazi AB (publ), a Swedish company, specializes in the development of innovative plants for the production of circular hydrogen. The focus is on the utilization of non-recyclable waste, which is an important contribution to sustainable energy production.

Plagazi's technology enables non-recyclable waste to be converted into circular hydrogen and liquid carbon dioxide through plasma gasification. This approach is particularly significant because it not only recycles waste in a climate-friendly way, but also creates a low-carbon energy source.

By converting non-recyclable waste into hydrogen, Plagazi is helping to reduce dependence on traditional energy sources while taking a step toward a circular economy. Such innovations are critical to meeting the challenges of climate change and shaping a sustainable energy future.

An electrolyzer consumes about 50 kWh per kg of hydrogen electricity, while Plagazi AB's (publ) plants consume only about 10 kWh per kg of hydrogen plus the energy content of the waste. This makes hydrogen produced on a Plagazi plant much more competitive.
