Jörg Dieter Weigl, Unicorn Engineering GmbH

Hydrogen energy systems with PEM fuel cells and electrolysis, scalable batteries and smart connectors as well as electronics development

Unicorn Engineering GmbH develops innovative energy storage and charging infrastructure elements for the fuel cell and electrical technology market. This particularly applies to light electromobility (LEVs) and stationary applications. The company's development spectrum includes mechanical, electrical, software and hardware development. Unicorn Engineering GmbH carries out the development work from the concept to the production of functional prototypes.

Previous developments include the products EnergyTube®, EnergyCube®, as a scalable universal battery. In addition, the following are being developed: H2 Fuel Cell Tube, H2 StorageTube® (refillable hydrogen cartridge) and EnergyLock® (standardized DC connector for light electromobility).

Unicorn Engineering GmbH also offers services that include:

Balance-of-Plant for PEM fuel cells and electrolysers (5 W - 20 kW), especially control boards, sensor boards, microcontroller development, industrial AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies (100 W - 20 kW), GUI & HMI.
