5. Analysis tool

Matomo (formerly Piwik)

Matomo (formerly PIWIK) is an analysis software of the company InnoCraft Ltd, 7 Waterloo Quay PO625, 6140 Wellington, New Zealand. The software is initially deactivated. We will only record your user behaviour anonymously if you actively consent to this.

The following data is collected for this purpose:

  • Anonymised IP address of the requesting terminal device
  • Date and time of access
  • URL and name of the accessed file, HTTP status code, transferred data volume
  • Referrer URL
  • Provider name
  • Web browser and operating system of the terminal device
  • Browser software version and language

We would like to use Matomo to further improve our website and adapt it to the respective needs of our users. The information collected about your use of the website is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis for data processing is based on your consent in accordance with sec. 6(1) lit. a) GDPR. The above mentioned data is deleted once it is no longer required for our purposes. The statistics generated and underlying data are not deleted.

If you do not agree to the storage and use of the information, you can deactivate the storage and usehere . In this case, an opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, which prevents Matomo from storing usage data. The opt-out cookie can be reactivated when you visit our site again.

 

6. Map display

Mapbox

Mapbox is an online mapping tool of the company Mapbox Inc., 509 16th St NW, Second Floor, Washington, DC 20036 in connection with OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre Cowley Road, Cambridge CB4 0WS; United Kingdom). The tool is initially deactivated. You can only use the map services accordingly if you actively agree.

The following data is collected according to the providers:

  • IP address of the requesting terminal device
  • Date and time of access
  • Referrer URL
  • Web browser and operating system of the terminal device
  • Content of the enquiry
  • Restricted location and usage data

We would like to use the tool to optimise our service in the context of maps and location information on our website. The legal basis for data processing is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1) lit. a) GDPR. When using the tool, your data may be transferred to third parties. In accordance with your consent pursuant to sec. 49(1) a) GDPR, your data will also be transmitted to a third country (USA). Access by state authorities cannot be ruled out in this case. In a formal decision, the EU Commission has determined that the United Kingdom has an adequate level of data protection (valid until 27 June 2025). We have no influence on personal data and user profiles being processed for other purposes. According to Mapbox, the IP address is deleted after 30 days. All other data is deleted after 36 months.
